Tin pitcher — furriers of Zwickau

tin, engraved, dated 1741

One of the most precious items of the pewterware collection kept in the Priesterhäuser is a tin pitcher made for the furrier guild, dating back to 1741. This prestigious pitcher was made by the local pewterer Johann Andreas Sonntag. At the end of the 19th century master furrier Johann Förster gave it to the Antiquity Association of Zwickau.
