Roof tiles monk & nun

Based upon the archaeological findings the formerly roofing was rebuilt during reconstruction. In order to tile such a pitched roof one has to use two arched imbrex tiles: The top linking tiles are the monk tiles and the lower layer are the nun tiles. Together these tiles form a half-cylindrical tube. This kind of roofing was commonly used for monasteries.
