Seal stamp of the Grünhain Monastery (Grünhainer Kloster)
iron with stamp made from copper, 15th/16th century
These seals show different motifs such as Virgin Mary with her child, various saints or Christ as judge of the world. On the order of the Prince Elector of Saxony the monks were forced to leave Zwickau in 1532.
